Featuring a narrow format, the Old School backpack measures 11 x 18 x 4 inches. Made by hand, the backpack uses vegetable tanned leather for the exterior.

- The Leather product will get better and better over time the more it's handled. All products are made from authentic cowhide leather, and part of the natural beauty and appeal is the slight variation from product to product. No two animal skins will be the same. There color, texture will always vary from skin to skin.
- Enjoy a real handmade leather product. Far from machines, very close to aesthetics. This product you bought was completely hand-stitched, not machines. Please do not confuse this product with the journals that were sewn on machines but tried to be sold to you as handmade.
- Add a monogram to THE COBBLEROAD product to make it uniquely yours. Or make a special gift even more personal. Monogramming adds just a day or two to your delivery time.

Quality matters. We source premium materials for our goods. The wool felt comes from a Chennai manufacturer in India . And the leather originates from Kanpur that uses traditional vegetable tanning process during which, the leather is soaked in a bath of tannins from bark and fruits for several weeks. Because of naturally occurring ingredients, there is no toxic pollution into the water.
For the wool felt, we suggest dry cleaning. It is one of the oldest materials in the history of humankind. Very breathable, antistatic, water resistant, heat, and cold isolating and shock absorbent. However, wet cleaning is possible. Please, immerse the wool felt in cool water with a mild soap for a short period. Do not wring or twist. Gently squeeze water out and lay flat to dry, away from heat.
Full grain leather requires only a little care. It is considered among the best quality leather available. Use a slightly wet cloth to remove dirt and dust. Just keep in mind that it is not made to be cared for but to be enjoyed!
